We offer advanced treatments for severe nearsightedness, correcting up to -12.00 diopters with Ortho-K. Our expertise in Orthokeratology (Ortho-K) and MiSight Contacts provides non-surgical solutions that slow myopia progression, which is especially important in today's digital age. Ortho-K lenses reshape the cornea overnight, freeing patients from glasses during the day, while MiSight soft contact lenses are FDA-approved to manage myopia in children aged 8-12. At LT Optometry, we have the complete MiSight fitting set. Dr. Lina is MiSight certified and can properly fit you for MiSight 1-day contacts.

Our Team
Dr. Lina Than, O.D. has been the sole practitioner of her private practice since 2007. She earned her Bachelor of Science from UCLA and her Doctor of Optometry from UC Berkeley. Dr. Lina provides quality eye care with thorough exams and the ability to relate to and address each patient’s unique needs. She has become an integral part of the local Vietnamese and Asian community.
With a keen eye for detail and a deep understanding of the delicate structures of the eye, Dr. Lina brings her expertise in optometry to the forefront. Her dedication to preserving and optimizing vision health is complemented by her ability to address the intricate concerns surrounding dry eye, ensuring a holistic approach to beauty and wellness.
Heather is a highly skilled optical specialist at our practice, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role. With a mastery of frame selection, she excels in guiding clients to find eyewear that not only accommodates their prescription but also meets their specific needs in terms of material and durability. Her approach combines technical expertise with an eye for aesthetics, allowing her to recommend frames that are both attractive and functional.
As our in-house frame adjustment specialist, Heather is able to fix major misalignments or make subtle tweaks for comfort, ensuring each client’s eyewear fits perfectly, optimizing both vision and comfort.
Trixie brings exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for fashion to her role. She excels in insurance billing and efficiently processes glasses and contact lens orders, ensuring the office runs smoothly.
Her expertise extends beyond administrative duties. She is also hyper-aware of the latest eyewear fashion trends. Trixie’s ability to blend functionality with style allows her to assist clients in selecting frames that meet their vision needs and complement their facial features and personal style.
A Minority- and Women-Owned Family Business
LT Optometry and LT Beauty, nestled under one roof, are operated by three sisters who leverage their extensive medical knowledge to serve their community. As a minority- and women-owned family business, LT Optometry has been a trusted establishment for decades, loved by its patients for its dedicated care. LT Beauty was born from the success seen with specialized laser equipment originally used at LT Optometry. This success inspired the sisters to expand their expertise into skincare.
